Food Allergies

“1 in 13 children in the U.S. has a food allergy.” (, 2016).

When we combine adults into that picture – the total is staggering – 15 million people in our country deal with life threatening food allergies every day, including my own family. I understand the challenges that face the allergic community. Kids feel ostracized and parents feel intense blame and protectiveness. Below are common problems therapy can help:

  • Anxiety
  • Fear
  • Depression
  • Feeling left out
  • Feeling different from others
  • Bullying
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
