Family Therapy

Just like a car, all aspects of the family unit have to be working together in unison while each attending to their own responsibilities in order for it to run smoothly.  When one part needs a tune-up, so does the rest of the car.  Family therapy is not a blame game but rather a place where each family member will be heard as we look at the contributions, both positive and negative, that each member brings to the table.  Family therapy offers a safe and supportive place to improve communication in the effort to resolve conflicts.

Family Therapy can involve the following:

  • Parenting
  • Blended families
  • Life transitions
  • Births, deaths
  • Crisis
  • Aging / Caregiving
  • Household responsibilities
  • Chronic Illness
  • Substance Use / Abuse
  • Loss / Grief – Including Pet Loss
